Dental Veneers

Veneers are very thin, handcrafted slices of porcelain, ceramic or composite which are bonded onto one or more teeth. They can be used to mask unsightly teeth that are discoloured or misshapen. They are used for many purposes including lengthening bulking out teeth and in smile design.

When Might Veneers Be Necessary?

Veneers help to improve the colour, shape and position of your teeth. They can be used to enhance lip support and increase the number of teeth we show when we smile.

A veneer can also be used instead of orthodontics to close small gaps and correct minor defects. For example, if one tooth is out of position, a veneer can help bring it into line with the others and restore your beautiful smile.

What Is Involved?

Veneers can be extremely thin and are held in place by a strong bond. In some cases, very little preparation of the tooth is needed.

Your dentist will take an impression of the prepared area and carefully choose the correct shade. This will then be sent away to our expert technicians who will construct your veneers. This entire process can take up to two weeks from beginning to end.
